THINGS TO DO WHILE IN LAS VEGAS

For your enjoyment, we’ve compiled a list of Las Vegas inspired tasty treats and places to see (during your down time when you’re not visiting booths and checking out conference events).

FOOD WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE

Bardot Brasserie: 3730 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89158

This highly rated restaurant gets positive mentions of its duck wings, crepes, and brunch food. It’s just outside of the Aria, so it’s not a long walk, though reviewers did mention that it can be a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and location. This place is not open on Wednesdays, so don’t be disappointed if you go in the middle of the week!

Jean Philippe Patisserie – Aria Resort: 3730 Las Vegas Blvd S, Aria Las Vegas, Casino Level, Las Vegas, NV 89158-4300

This popular patisserie gets high marks for its gelato, paninis, and even its chocolate fountain. This is also a nice place to get coffee and people-watch for a few minutes. The best news is that this restaurant is open 24/7, so you can grab an early or late bite. One reviewer says “I don’t think I can describe this place with one word. Palatable, exquisite, delightful, heavenly, mouthwatering! Need I say more? Please do not leave Las Vegas without eating at least few times at Jean Philippe! Some of my favorites are: Sugar doughnut, Blueberry cupcake, Cheese Danish.” Those each sound like reasons to come back. Luckily, it’s also right beside the Aria.

Secret Pizza: 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S, Cosmopolitan Hotel, Las Vegas, NV 89109-4309

Technically, this place is just across from the street from the Aria, but because of traffic, this amounts to a 10- to 15-minute walk. Hard to find because it’s a secret, this place sounds worth the digging to find it. It’s located in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. There are no signs, so you’ll have to follow your nose. If that doesn’t get you there, we hear that it’s on the third floor down a little corridor. There might be a line, but the cheap price and tasty pizza sounds like it’s worth it.

Fatburger: 3763 Las Vegas Blvd S, Ste A, Las Vegas, NV

This is another cheap eat on the other side of S Las Vegas Blvd that gets good reviews for their burgers and fries. Many reviewers note that the prices are good for the amount of food you get. If you’re not in the mood for pizza, many reviewers say that this is a place they have to stop every visit. One reviewer says “Delicious! The burger and onion rings we a perfect size and amount for the two of us to share! Great staff, nice atmosphere, quick service.” That sounds like a recipe for a tasty dinner!

THINGS TO DO

Customer Appreciation Event

One event sponsored by the conference is this customer appreciation event. Not many details have been supplied at this point, but on Thursday evening from 8 p.m.-12 a.m. you can look for complimentary snacks and drinks. We will update this as we learn more.

Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio: Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109

Inside the Bellagio is the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio, just across the street from the Aria. While you’re grabbing a bite at Secret Pizza (also across the street from the Aria), a quick walk to this garden might be worth your while. Not only is it free, but it’s near two other interesting sights: the chocolate fountain inside the Bellagio and the iconic Bellagio fountain show, which happens every 1/2 hour from  3:00 PM – 8:00 PM show and every 15 minutes from 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

Paris Las Vegas: 3655 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109-4345

Also near the Aria is Paris Las Vegas, where you can check out the Eiffel Tower and stroll through the French-esque street inside the building. The casino is said to be very well designed and a fun place to pass the time.

Tickets for the highly reviewed Circus 1903 inside of Paris Las Vegas are also still available on Wednesday, October 4th for $44 each. One reviewer says that “Circus 1903 takes you back to the circus during a different time, the turn of the 20th century. With high flying acrobatics, juggling, comedy, and all the tricks and excitement that we would expect with the circus, this show tells the story of a life forgotten, that of the circus of an era lost.”
